4/1973 -10/2008

Thomas “Diver” M. Funari, age 36, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 7th 2008 at 10:20 pm. Born April 13, 1973 at Fort Meade, Maryland, Thomas was a member of the American Legion (Post #65) as Past-President and now Past-Treasurer of the Sons of the American Legion. His love for riding motorcycles was carried out as First Director of The American Legion Riders (Post #65), and the Patriot Guard Riders. Tom, better known as "Diver",  was also known for the karaoke & DJ work with DiverTunes.

     Diver was the first in the Twin Cities to utilize computers in a DJ setup at Gipper's Sports Bar and then also in a number of weddings.  Diver then went on to pioneer computerized karaoke in the Twin Cities.  Some of the best computerized shows employ systems designed and built by Diver.

     Diver has the experience to make karaoke fun in your venue.  With a large song selection of his own including pop, rock and country, Diver's not afraid to carry the evening on his own when needed and more than willing to take a backseat when the rotation starts getting large.

Taking over our DJ and KJ services is Diver's youngest brother, Brian. He joined DiverTunes with an associates's degree in film and video broadcasting.  Brian has spent hours teaming with his brother, Tom, at karaoke shows. He also works with Swank Audio Visuals in Minnesota (previously stationed in Arizona) setting up audio and video systems as well as running DJ equipment.

Brian has spent much of his time training to offer the top quality service his brother instilled into Diver Tunes. With 5 plus years experince in audio visual; Even more years in customer service, and an out going personality to help your event or venue become the party you asked for!  As Diver has always said, "Our focus is on YOU!", and that is the way it will always be.
